The Visual Assurance

Continuous visual monitoring of your site with Playwright — screenshots of your key pages across desktop, tablet and mobile, diffed on every check and reviewed by a human before you are alerted.

Visual Assurance keeps a Playwright-driven watch on your site after the design work is done. We capture your key pages across desktop, tablet and mobile viewports on a regular schedule, diff each run against the approved baseline, and review every flagged difference by hand before it reaches you — so an alert means something actually changed, not that an animation caught the camera mid-frame. When a change is intentional, we promote it to the new baseline and archive the before/after pair, building a visual history of your site over time. The standard plan covers up to 10 key pages across three viewports; larger page sets are quoted as additional units. This is the always-on counterpart to the before/after proof reports that already ship with our styling work: those prove the change you paid for, this catches the ones nobody planned — a dependency update that shifted your layout, a CMS edit that broke a template, a plugin that restyled your buttons.

FAQ

How does delivery work for a monthly service?
Initial setup — page list, viewport baselines and the capture schedule — is completed within 8.125 weekday hours of you confirming the page list. After that, monitoring runs continuously for the month; alerts go out after human review, typically within one working day of a flagged run.
What counts as a page?
One URL, captured at three viewports. The plan covers up to 10 URLs; if your site needs more, additional pages are added in blocks at the same per-unit rate.
Is this the same as the before/after reports on styling work?
No — those ship free with every styling and design change we deliver, proving the change you commissioned. Visual Assurance is continuous: it watches for the changes nobody commissioned, between and after projects.
Do you fix what the monitoring finds?
The plan covers detection, human review and alerting with the before/after evidence attached. Fixes are booked as normal Quick Wins — most visual breakages fall under The Site Facelift or The Framework Facelift, and the monitoring report gives whoever fixes it an exact starting point.
