The Guacamole Gateway

A self-hosted Apache Guacamole gateway giving browser-based access to your existing servers and desktops over RDP, VNC or SSH — no per-seat licensing.

We deploy and configure a self-hosted Apache Guacamole gateway in front of your existing servers and desktops: RDP, VNC and SSH sessions reachable from any browser, with no client software required on the connecting end. The base build includes HTTPS through a reverse proxy, multi-factor authentication, LDAP/SSO integration if you already run one, and 5–10 configured connections. Additional connections beyond that are quoted once we know your endpoint count, since connection volume — not the gateway itself — is what drives the final scope. The result replaces per-user licensing from tools like TeamViewer or AnyDesk with a gateway running on infrastructure you own, built and configured by senior sysadmins who have been running self-hosted remote access for client infrastructure since 2003, using Guacamole, Authentik or Authelia rather than a SaaS wrapper you rent by the seat.

What's included

  • Apache Guacamole deployed (Docker-based or native) on infrastructure you control
  • HTTPS access via reverse proxy with MFA enabled by default
  • LDAP/SSO integration where you already run centralized identity
  • 5–10 initial RDP/VNC/SSH connections configured and tested
  • Browser-based access with no per-user client licensing
  • Handover documentation covering connection setup for your own team

FAQ

How fast is delivery?
Standard delivery is within 125 weekday hours (≈ 8 working days). Express delivery — within 75 weekday hours (≈ 5 working days) — costs 25% more.
What determines the final price?
The base build covers 5–10 configured connections. Connection count is what actually drives scope here — if you need more endpoints connected than that, we quote the extras once we know your count.
Does this include building new desktops for us?
No — this connects to servers and desktops you already have. If you need new Linux desktops provisioned, see The Linux Remote Desktop Pilot or The Developer Workstation Setup.
Can it work alongside our existing identity provider?
Yes, if you run LDAP or an SSO provider we integrate against it. If you have none, we deploy Authentik or Authelia as part of the build.
