The Bulk Onboarding Sprint (Migration Day)

A coordinated rollout onboarding 10–50 staff onto Linux desktops in scheduled waves, with a defined cutover day and a two-week hypercare period afterward.

This covers the two moments a Linux migration actually lives or dies on: the rollout itself and the cutover day. We finalize your golden image, then move staff across in scheduled provisioning waves rather than all at once, with live group training sessions and individual 1:1 troubleshooting built into each wave. On the cutover day, staff move from their old machines to their new Linux desktops with our team on standby live over Slack, Teams or phone until every issue raised is resolved before sign-off — this is also sold on its own as a Migration Day, and the two are the same engagement priced together. A two-week hypercare period follows the last wave, catching the issues that only surface once people are back to real daily work rather than a training session. Wave count and hypercare duration are agreed up front and scale with your headcount; this removes the chaos most VDI or OS migrations create on day one by putting a fixed price and a written plan against it instead.

FAQ

How fast is delivery?
Standard delivery is within 500 weekday hours (≈ 32 working days). Express delivery — within 300 weekday hours (≈ 19 working days) — costs 25% more.
Is this the same as "the Migration Day"?
Yes — Migration Day is the cutover component of this same engagement, sometimes sold under that name on its own. Priced here, it is bundled with the wave-based onboarding that precedes it.
What determines the final scope?
Headcount drives wave count and team size, and both are agreed with you before the sprint starts, along with the exact hypercare duration.
What happens after the two-week hypercare period ends?
Ongoing day-to-day support is a separate line item — pair this with The Linux Help Desk retainer if you want continued coverage once hypercare closes.
